Diana holds a college degree in Enviromental Sciences from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. While in college, Diana has served as a class president and as a member of the students parliament, an organization meant to promote positive contributions to the Academy and the global community. Thanks to her degree and the lack of environmental awareness in a post-communist Romania, Diana felt compelled to further her knowledge with internships at the Ministries of Finance, Agriculture and Environment.
Upon graduation, she moved to the US and focused on building a career in customer service. Living in an idyllic place like Lake Tahoe has aided greatly in furthering her passion for cultural diversity. Diana served been employed with the largest timeshare management company in Southern California, serving as the General Manager of one of their resorts located in Squaw Valley. Throughout her tenure, she served as the liaison between the Board of Directors and the Management Company, while managing day to day operations and consistently exceeding company set goals. Her expertise includes hospitality management, yield management, marketing, branding and budgeting.
