Vanda holds a B.A. in International Affairs with a Minor in Asian Studies from the UNR, Reno. She holds a Certificate of Completion from the Peace Operation Training Institute regarding the implementation of the Security Council resolution 1325 (2000) in Africa.
As a native of Romania, where participatory actions of youth and young professionals on economic, political, social and cultural issues were low, she designed her career to overcome the challenges that affected the young generation. As a college student and later as a young professional in Romania she was part of the two student organizations where she built, led and monitored a vast network of students and young professionals in Craiova region, Romania. Vanda developed projects for students’ and young professionals’ involvement in economic, politics, and social activities in urban and rural area of Craiova, Romania and participated in fundraising activities.
In the United States she further develop her skills in researching, analyzing and creating comprehensive reports on political, economic, cultural and social issues for the Romanian Government during her Internship at the Romanian Embassy in Washington D.C.
After Vanda’s graduation from the University of Nevada, Reno she realized the necessity of creating an organization to fulfill the needs of Reno’s minority groups and beyond. She mentors young professionals to preserve and share their cultural heritage while at the same time developing necessary skills to work in the field of international affairs.
Worldwide Partnership opened their door in April 2013.
